A Grade II listed townhouse in the heart of Mayfair has been transformed into a refined private residence. From the early stages of planning through to final completion, 18FIFTY collaborated closely with the wider design team to reimagine the four-storey property, balancing a contemporary and soft aesthetic with a deep respect for the building’s historic fabric.

Our lighting approach was carefully considered to amplify and articulate the architectural language of the space, drawing attention to key features while seamlessly integrating within the overall design narrative. Particular emphasis was placed on illuminating the client’s curated artwork, allowing each piece to be experienced with clarity and intention.

Throughout the house, the decorative lighting fixtures acted as focal elements, contributing to a layered scheme that creates warmth, depth, and a calm, intimate atmosphere.

The result is a homage to heritage, coexisting harmoniously with modernism.
